Members

Our members are very dedicated to the organization. Many of them at one time were active firefighters and a few currently are active with local fire departments. We have a maximum amount of members set at 35 (excluding life members) in accordance with our By-Laws. Currently, there are approximately 22 members, plus over 15 Life Members (several of whom are still very active).

Six members make up a full crew for a call. Two members travel with and attend to the shelter unit, assisting in the main unit when shelter is set up. The others travel in and attend to the main canteen, cooking and serving. There are times when we run short on a crew, especially during the day, as some of our members work or have other obligations.

We are always on the lookout for new members and, should you be interested, feel free to stop by the Building the first or third Monday evenings at 7:00 PM when we have our worknights.
